Thanks to an Italian Foundation, we will begin a new school here in Cite Soleil. The community gives us the locale rent free, and together with the community we will make a school happen here. We will call it "St Ambrose", after the patron of Milan, where the foundation is located. Elementary school will begin herer in September, 2007.

This is a semi-abandoned site in Cite Soleil, an area called Lento. It was built about 20 years ago and has been largely neglected due to the strife and violence. We are looking to make a second school here, thanks to the same foundation from Italy. This place already has a name: St Alphonsus. We will respect this longtime name, and start another elementary school here in September.

This is also part of the St Alphonsus compound. We have our eye on it, to turn it into a small TB hospital and emergency room. Hopefully we can do this during September, 2007. The area needs it very badly.

Pope John Paul II used to say, we must bring love where it is most needed, and to where it is most difficult to bring.
